Ngāti Ōtara Marae

Our mission is to be a marae that is culturally nurturing, with strong vibrant initiatives that supports opportunities for wider community aspirations, and a place of healing for our people.

Due to land sinking our wharenui and toilet block won't last or operate beyond a few more years.  Along with the physical changes, we want to open up what we do at the marae so more of the community can use it and ultimately, see it as their own turangawaewae or place they belong to.
